Kunhuim
Kunhuium is a domain of life native to the planet Liemung-Kunhu in the Liemung system, sector A45-Y57-Z8.
The life domain is carbon-based and hydrocarbon-solvent. Only one kingdom of macroorganisms exists, and like all hydrocarbon-solvent life, is extremely slow due to the low temperatures of their homeworld. The creatures mostly consume electricity from static or other sources. There is no known photosynthetic life.

The coniforms pictured above are an example of Kunhuium life. They’re covered in a scraggly fur that attracts statically-charged organic polymers blown across the surface, from which they gain their “food” of static electricity. They space themselves from each other at roughly the golden ratio; the driving force behind this is not yet fully understood.
The coniforms and other similar organisms of the kingdom move across the surface at only several meters per year, but due to the slow geology of Kunhu, their “feeding” habits and motion create mesmerizing fractal patterns in the polymer-sand-turned-rock around them.
